Gran masa de agua en una depresión.''〕 "big red lake", hispanicized spelling ''Jatun Pucacocha'') is a lake in Peru located in the Cusco Region, Quispicanchi Province, Ocongate District.〔escale.minedu.gob.pe - UGEL map of the Quispicanchi Province 1 (Cusco Region) showing "Lago Jatun Pucacocha"〕 It is about 0.9 km long and 0.58 km at its widest point. Hatun Pukaqucha lies southwest of the mountain Ausangate of the Willkanuta mountain range, between the lakes Uchuy Pukaqucha ("little red lake") in the northwest and Pukaqucha in the southeast.
